PEORIA, Ariz. — Three straight singles off of Colorado Rockies’ reliever Matt Belisle in the bottom of the ninth — with an error mixed in for good measure — produced a 7-6 comeback win for the Seattle Mariners in their penultimate Cactus League game Monday.

Leading off the inning, Justin Smoak singled to left. That was followed by a sharp single to right by Michael Saunders, which was misplayed by right-fielder Bronson Sardinha. Mariners’ third baseman Chone Figgins continued his torrid spring, extending his hitting streak to 12 games with a three-hit outing. Figgins went 3-for-3 with a double, stolen base and two runs, and raised his Cactus League average to .396. He’s hit .485 (16-for-33) in the last dozen games.
